Rectangular wall mirror are a perfect addition to almost any room, and are an especially good additional to the décor of a summer house.
Why rectangular wall mirror?
First of all, they match the shape of most rooms.
Very few rooms are square (that is, each of the four walls being the same length), much less odd shapes such as oval or hexagonal or round. People seem to be most comfortable in rectangular rooms, and it helps considerably to have furnishings upon the walls that reflect that rooms shape.
That is where rectangular wall mirror come into play. As a rectangular mirror can be hung either with the long end horizontally or the long end vertically. If it is to be hung on one of the long walls, (a rectangular room by definition has two long walls and two shorter walls) then you will want to hang the mirror horizontally. If the wall mirror is to be hung on the shorter wall, then you may very likely want to hang it vertically, reflecting the shorter wall opposite it.
Of course, these same rectangular wall mirror can come with many different sorts of framing styles and colors. If the room is formal, then you may want your mirror to have a wider or more ornate sort of styling to the frame. On the other hand, if your room is contemporary you may well want to compliment the styling with a mirror that has a plainer or narrower frame to it. The same is true for the color choices for your mirrors frames: are you choosing a color that matches or compliments the rest of the room?
Rectangular wall mirror in summer houses are a really good choice in almost every case. As we have already mentioned, rectangular mirrors do very well in rectangular rooms, but in summer houses, they are even more welcomed.
